Planning and permitted development

Usually, garden room projects can be completed within permitted development guidelines however if you are looking to build something that requires planning permission we can help. We have our own design team on hand to supply detailed 3D CAD designs and we handle the planning process from start to finish.

Building Methods

We primarily use timber and light gauge steel framing methods. All of our buildings are completely insulated for year round use and meet all required building regulations. Tried, tested, and approved by the building control for safety and heating efficiency. We take pride in delivering a finished product that meets your specific requirements.

Do I need planning permission?

In most cases the answer is no. We build to comply with permitted development rights. However, if you live in a listed building or conservation area you may need to gain special permission. In any case we are on hand to help with any planning queries, we also handle all design and planning work should you wish to build a garden room outside of the permitted development guidelines.

How long will it take?

This really depends on the size of the building and if there are any optional extras, however we aim to finish all projects within a 4–5-week timeframe.

Is there a warranty?

We promise that your garden room has a minimum life expectancy of 60 years which is also backed by a 10-year structural warranty.
